The preferred way for citizens to report issues with downed wires or poles is to contact Tampa Electric directly, as they have more resources and are better equipped to assist with these issues.

Outages or downed power lines can be reported online at https://outage.tecoenergy.com/ or by calling 1-877-588-1010.
Inform customers to stay away from downed utility lines and to not touch wires under any circumstances.
