For WebEOC Issue Description:
What exactly was the object that fell? How many? (whole tree, number of items down, limbs/branches only, etc.)
How thick and long are the downed trees/limbs?
Are there power lines involved? If yes, to your knowledge, has TECO been notified? (Pronounced “Tee-Co”, short for Tampa Electric Company).
NOTE: If Power Lines are involved, choose Power/Line Down as the Event Type in WebEOC (do NOT choose Trees/Limb Down). This routes the request to TECO first, as they must address the power lines before any other work can be done.
What is it affecting or blocking? (road, lane, right of way, home, etc.)
Is it blocking the ONLY entrance/exit to a home, community, or facility? If yes, what is it blocking? (in other words, do people have another way to get out/through/around the tree/limbs?)Is it on top of any structures, vehicles or facilities? If so, what kind?
Is it on top of any structures, vehicles or facilities? If so, what kind?
Has it caused any damage as far as you can tell? If so, what kind?
To your knowledge, is the tree/limb located on private property, or is it on public property?
Are any first responders onsite? If yes, which agencies? (Examples: Tampa Police, Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, Ambulance, Hillsborough County Fire Rescue…)
(If caller is law enforcement), what is the Event Number?
